3D Cell Culture System Using Porous Polyimide Membrane
We are advancing research and development in innovative cell culture processes that utilize our proprietary 3D culture substrate (porous polyimide membrane), enabling long-term stable culture and overcoming the limitations of traditional planar or suspension culture methods.

Examples of Cultured Cell Types

Example of Regenerative Medicine Research
- Cartilage Tissue Formation -
We discovered that culturing chondrocytes under stirred conditions on the module composed of stacked porous polyimide membranes provides appropriate mechanical stimuli to the cells, controlling their metabolism and promoting the formation of cartilage tissue (patent pending).

Microbial Utilization Technology
We are developing industrial microorganisms (smart cells) capable of producing target compounds (raw materials for valuable chemical products) by harnessing biotechnology and digital technology. At the same time, we are advancing bioprocess development, including cultivation techniques.
