TOKYO, April 19, 2024 -- UBE Corporation (President: Masato Izumihara) announced today that its U.S. subsidiary, UBE C1 Chemicals America, Inc. (UCCA; President and CEO: Masayoshi Ota),^*1 will sponsor the 2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, a men's golf tournament on the PGA Tour. The tournament will be held at TPC Louisiana in Louisiana, U.S.A., from April 22 to April 28, 2024.

UCCA's sponsorship will be through the corporate sponsorship program of the Fore!Kids Foundation^*2 (Chairman: Jody Guilbeau). All sponsorship funds will be donated to programs benefiting underprivileged children.

Leaflets distributed to visitors during the tournament will feature the UBE corporate logo and a QR code linking to UCCA's website.

On February 29, 2024, UBE announced its decision to invest in the construction of a production facility near New Orleans, in Waggaman, Louisiana, and to increase the capital in UCCA. Going forward, UCCA will continue actively contributing to the local community through its business activities, job creation, and participation in events and educational activities.
