Overview

Using metallocene catalyst, a single-site catalyst, in the vapor-phase process, we manufacture and sell high-strength super polyethylene under the trademark UMERIT. UMERIT is expanding its market to the functional film market such as sealant film, co-extruded film, bag-in-box, and heavy duty bags, as well as the extrusion and lamination fields, replacing conventional materials with its superior performance such as high strength, low temperature heat sealability, non-blocking, excellent processing heat stability, low gel, low odor & strange taste. We are expanding our market into the field of extrusion and lamination. We have also realized material development tailored to user needs in niche areas such as materials for medical packaging applications and additive-free materials. Furthermore, by optimizing material design, we are developing new materials for various molding applications such as injection molding, blow molding, spinning, calendaring, and fluidized dip coating.
